最近經濟不景氣,我們公司的業績也一直下滑中,老闆要我們業務嘗試聯絡這些客戶:

1. 最近 2 年沒有向我們買東西的舊客戶。
2. 以及這 2
 年有來過我們參展攤位,但沒有進一步消息的新客戶。

老闆要我們想辦法去看看這些客人是否有其他的需求,或是有任何機會我們可以把握的。請給我一些英文書信的範例或一些你的建議,好嗎?感激不盡!

Dear Rose,


定期追蹤本來就是業務人員該做的事,但是跟寄開發信一樣,客人不一定會回覆,尤其最近一片風聲鶴唳,所以不要寄望太高。不過該做的事還是要做,我建議不只是要問客人有沒有訂單?更要關心他們的近況,提供最新行情趨勢給他參考,並互相交換最新市場資訊 。而且不只最近這兩年的客戶要聯絡要追蹤,手邊所有的客戶都要再  follow  一遍。

至於信的內容該怎麼寫,以下謹供參考:

Dear Mr. Smith,

How are you doing ? It has been a long time since our last correspondence. We wish everything with you is as good as usual.

如果是參展時認識的新客人,可以加上這一段:

For reminding purpose, we met each other at 2007 CES show, and it seemed that you were very interested in our XXX products.

During the past few months, most of markets turned down due to economic recession worldwide, I am wondering if you get any influence in your business ?  Even though, we are sure the coldest winter will be over soon, and the warm spring will come again in the very near future.  We are now developing new products and recalling our old customers to update the latest circumstances. We wish to find out a good way to move forwards for a brighter tomorrow, especially with your esteemed company.

 Please refer to our website ( or attached files ) to have a further understanding of our new projects. If you have any good idea which we can work together, we are ready to be at your service any time.
